Here’s another creature that started off as a weird idea and made it’s way to 3d. I wanted to create a flying creature that had a usual appearance so I decided to incorporate ideas from vultures, wasps, bats, and dragons. The creature is an ambush predator who hangs upside down and uses its stinger not only as a weapon but as a means of support and balance as well. I’m really looking forward to texturing and rigging this guy in the near future so stay tuned.
